Award-Winning Actress Erika Christensen from ABC Hit TV Drama “Will Trent” to Receive Mark of Excellence Award at MediNova NY 2023 Gala Dinner – Hope Within a Dream

Our Annual MediNova Gala is a premiere event bringing together an extraordinary array of influencers and specially recognized physicians, attorneys, artists, entrepreneurs, corporations, philanthropists, and other exemplary private & public figures, with a common goal of giving back to those in need.

Come dressed in your finest attire, walk the red carpet, and partake in an evening that will celebrate the remarkable achievements & groundbreaking accomplishments of our distinguished honorees:
Award-winning actress, Erika Christensen of the current ABC hit drama, ‘Will Trent’, as well as star of ‘Parenthood’, and ‘Traffic’;
Dr. Purna Atluri, a widely respected and renowned Gastroenterologist in NY;
Dr. Susan Beane, an Executive Medical Director at HealthFirst;
Karen Dupiche, a four time Emmy Award-winning, celebrity makeup artist at ‘The View’; and Aisha McShaw, fashion designer, CEO, & children’s advocate.

The Evening’s Festivities will include:
VIP Tour, Cocktail Hour, Open Bar, Dinner, Sushi Station, Awards Presentation, Event Photographer(s), Entertainment, & Dancing.

This year, our goal is to raise over $750,000.
Proceeds from the MediNova NY Gala will go towards several MediNova NY Initiatives in Haiti: Educational Programs, Medical Missions, & Hospital Completion. Finishing the Philips Pavilion, which is the second building of our Caracol Urgent Care Project, is of paramount importance. This building will contain two operating rooms, a conventional radiology suite and a recovery room dedicated to intensive care needs. MediNova NY continually strives to raise enough capital to fund the upkeep and maintenance of the clinic and to purchase necessary equipment that allows us to provide the desperately needed, quality healthcare, year-round.

MediNova NY (formerly known as NOAH NY) is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization that is committed to providing the most underserved communities in Haiti with equitable access to quality healthcare. MediNova NY organizes week-long medical missions to Fort Liberté and the surrounding Northeastern regions of Haiti in order to provide everything from dental care, routine medical check-ups to life saving surgical procedures. We built and manage an urgent care center in the town of Caracol, that currently has a local staff of 10 employees.
