L’Alliance’s popular Madison Avenue street fair celebrating the Fête Nationale Française—commemorating the storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789, which birthed the modern French nation—is New York City’s largest public celebration of Bastille Day, drawing crowds in excess of 30,000 people for more than 20 years. The Bastille Day festival events take place across five blocks of Madison Avenue, as well as inside L’Alliance New York, with live music and dance performances, champagne parties, film screenings, booths representing the best of French and New York City local businesses, and kids’ activities.Event Calendar
