Bideawee’s 14th Annual “Love Your Pet Art Contest”

Bideawee, one of the country’s oldest and most respected animal welfare and pet adoption organizations, is calling student-artists and pet lovers to participate in the 14th annual “Love Your Pet Art Contest.” Prizes will be awarded and winners are selected by public vote!

The much-anticipated annual event gives budding artists, grades 1 – 12, the chance to demonstrate their artistic ability and memorialize their love for their pets in many mediums including drawings, sculpture and photography. Teachers can also submit artwork on behalf of their students.

Students are asked to enter the contest by digitally submitting photos of their artwork from Tuesday, April 5th – Sunday, May 8th. The winners in each grade group will be determined by online, public vote. Voting for each grade category will be open on Tuesday, May 10th at 9am to Sunday, May 15th at midnight. The winners in each grade group will be announced on Bideawee’s website and social media pages on Tuesday, May 17th. Prizes will be awarded in five groupings based on children’s grade year in school: 1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th, 7th & 8th and 9th -12th. Winning students will receive a $100 TD Bank VISA gift card, supported by our sponsors at TD Bank, and two tickets to the Long Island Aquarium. Five additional winners will be chosen by a panel of Bideawee judges. These winners will be showcased on Bideawee Greeting Cards and a sticker sheet that will be mailed to more than 10,000 Bideawee supporters.
