The Gala will be held at 583 Park Avenue at 63rd Street in Manhattan, starting with cocktails at 6:00 PM followed by dinner and a program at 7:00 PM. Attendees will be compete with students in an engaging trivia competition, “Are You Smarter Than a Breakthrough Student?”

Wine enthusiasts will be delighted by this year’s live auction items, including a “Rare 1997 California Cabernet Magnum Trio,” widely regarded by most critics to be a nearly perfect vintage. The wine is rich and concentrated, yet it balances those flavors with complexity and nuance, appealing to almost every wine lover. An “International Oenophile” selection of six spectacular reds will also be up for auction.

The “Napa Valley” auction package will include a Joseph Phelps Vineyards wine tasting and luncheon; a private tasting for four at Gargiulo Vineyards; a $1000 gift certificate for The Harvest Inn; and a $400 gift certificate for Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch.

For the football fan, a “New York Jets” auction package will include four Coaches Club tickets to the Jets vs. Bills 2019 home opening game and four pre-game field passes to meet offensive tackle Kelvin Beachum, with VIP reserved parking passes, food, and non-alcoholic drinks included.
