CATHOLIC SCHOOL REGION OF ROCKLAND HOSTS THIRD ANNUAL CATHOLIC SCHOOLS BREAKFAST

The Catholic School Region of Rockland will host its third annual Catholic Schools Breakfast on Thursday, March 31 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Hilton Pearl River, 500 Veterans Memorial Dr., Pearl River, NY.. Registration begins at 8:00 AM, and is followed by breakfast at 8:30 AM.

This special event will honor Mary Leahy, CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital, and present her with the Our Lady of the Rosary Leadership Award.

The St. Dominic Legacy Award will be presented to both Sister Stephen Gerard, O.P., principal at St. Paul’s School in Valley Cottage and Margaret Hamilton, principal at Saint Peter’s School in Haverstraw.

Proceeds from the event will support scholarships, capital improvements and technology enhancements in the Catholic School Region of Rockland, which provides scholarships for over 1,200 students in five schools each year (46% minority and 19% non-Catholic). An astonishing 100% graduate high school and 99% of graduates attend college.
