Clymove, founder/director Clymene Aldinger, will hold its second annual dance gala April 2, and will honor dance legend Sarita Allen with the Elisa Monte Leadership Legacy Award. The evening will also feature the world premiere of a work by Aldinger and one by JoVanna Parks, along with a performance of “Pigs and Fishes,” one of Elisa Monte’s most celebrated works, originally choreographed on Sarita Allen in 1982 and not performed in NYC in a decade.
