The New York Women’s Foundation 2019 Celebrating Women® Breakfast

Each year, more than 2,200 women join The New York Women’s Foundation (The Foundation) at its annual Celebrating Women® Breakfast to recognize the accomplishments of women, who in their own unique way, use their passion and leadership to advance gender, economic and racial justice.

This year, The Foundation invites you to celebrate the achievements of five groundbreaking leaders: Cyndi Lauper, Grammy, Emmy and Tony Award-winning artist and Co-Founder of True Colors United; dream hampton, filmmaker, writer, and organizer; Dr. Marta Moreno Vega, President of the Creative Justice Initiative and Founder of the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute; Sarinya Srisakul, first Asian-American woman firefighter of the FDNY and former President of the United Women Firefighters Association of NYC; and Rhonda Joy McLean, attorney, author, philanthropist and former Board Co-Chair of The New York Women’s Foundation.

The popular fundraiser also celebrates the work of The Foundation’s current grantee partners—women-led community organizations working to create an economically secure, safer future for all women and families in New York City.

Registration begins at 6:30 AM. The program and awards presentations will begin promptly at 7:30 AM.
