Dancers of the Met

Dancers of the Met, an independent collective of current and former dancers with the Metropolitan Opera, joins with furloughed members of the Met Orchestra and Met Chorus Artists for an all-day live outdoor event, May 16th. Activities will start at 11 AM with short demonstrations of dance and opera music. The two dance performances will take place at 4 PM and 5:30 PM, with ballets by Belinda McGuire, Danielle Russo, Jacoby Pruitt, and Michelle Vargo, accompanied by violinists Laura McGinnis and Sarah Vonsattel, violist Mary Hammann, cellist David Heiss, and soprano Anne Marie Nonnemacher, all with the Met Opera. location: 75th Street between Broadway & West End.
