Erasing Borders Dance Festival

The Indo-American Arts Council announces the annual, eagerly awaited Erasing Borders Dance Festival. Entitled “Then and Now,” the Festival will show three completely different programs of both renowned and emerging artists of many different styles of East Indian dance and music. The Sept. 21 & 22, 6 PM, evenings are live at the Ailey Citigroup Theater. Monday Sept. 23 at 7 PM features artists from various locations in India, and can be viewed on Facebook and YouTube.com. Both a feast and an education in the art of East Indian dance. In addition, there will be two workshops at the Ailey Studios, Sept. 21 & 22, in Bollywood Kathak and Bharatanatyam styles.
