Friends of the Inner-City Scholarship Fund Host 43rd Annual Gala

Hundreds of guests including His Eminence, Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York, will gather to support Inner-City Scholarship Fund, the city’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to providing tuition assistance to underprivileged students attending Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of New York, at its 43rd Annual FRIENDS Gala on Tuesday, May 21 at 6:30 PM at Cipriani 42nd Street, 110 East 42nd Street (between Lexington and Park Avenues), Manhattan. This year’s Gala Chairs are Margaret Crotty and Rory Riggs.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Inner-City Scholarship Fund which provides scholarship support to nearly 8,000 students each year (90% minority and 33% non-Catholic). An astonishing 99% percent of seniors attending inner-city Catholic high schools graduate, and 98% pursue college at some of the finest universities in the nation.

The event will feature remarks by Timothy Cardinal Dolan, student performances and speakers, and dancing to the music of Sumar Entertainment.
