Handel’s Messiah

Michael Spierman, founder/conductor of The Orchestra of The Bronx, announces the annual presentation of Handel’s Messiah, joined by The Bronx Opera Chorus, soloists, and guest readers, Dec. 10, 3 pm, at Lehman College.

Short texts from biblical sources have been selected by Charles Jennens, and delivered by members of the Bronx Community, including college presidents, government officials, newspaper editors, a rep from the Bronx Zoo, an honors student, and a waiter from a popular Bronx restaurant.

The concert is free to the public.
