Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen’s 7th annual Farm to Tray

Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen will host its 7th annual Farm to Tray, presented by Google, on Thursday, May 16, 2019, in the landmark sanctuary of Church of the Holy Apostles. This year’s event will honor New York City Council Speaker Corey Johnson for his dedicated and ongoing support of the Soup Kitchen’s work to help New Yorkers in need. The VIP reception begins at 6:00pm, and doors open for general admission at 6:30pm.

At the event, well-respected chefs from across the city prepare a menu that mirrors the Soup Kitchen’s commitment to using locally grown produce to create nutritious and delicious meals. Attendees will enjoy food and beverage samplings from restaurants including Bodega Negra, Boucherie, Convene, Thalassa, Gitano NYC, Kimchi Smoke, and Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria, and live music by Avenues: The World School, in addition to the opportunity to bid on unique auction items. The VIP reception, hosted by Whole Foods Market, will feature the Women of Farm to Tray: Kim Huskey of Food@Google, Ginger Pierce of Jams, Caroline Schiff of ParadigmSchiff, and Shakira Cruz of Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen.
