Joffrey Ballet Concert Group NY

The New York-based Joffrey Ballet Concert Group, Bradley Shelver, Artistic Director, will present a program of all premieres choreographed by Shelver, Lindsay Grymes, and Eric Trope. Young dancemakers Grymes and Trope are winners of the first Creative Movers Choreographic Initiative, having been selected from over 100 applicants to create a new work for the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group. Music choices range from JS Bach to Dinah Washington to Nils Frahm’s “Improvisation for coughs and a cell phone.” Performances Feb. 16-18 at 7:30 pm at the Ailey Citigroup Theatre, 405 W. 55 St.
