One in five adults in the U.S. lives with mental illness. And while Jews have a long history in the practice of psychology, there is still stigma in the Jewish community about mental health. This series will examine the intersections of Judaism and mental health among three populations: the LGBTQ+ community, college students, and artists. Moderated by Arya Samuelson, each evening will feature a panel of clergy, Jewish communal professionals, mental health professionals, and people with lived experience with mental health challenges to discuss the relationship between Judaism and mental health. Join us for one evening or all.
