Lifting Girls Up Annual Gala

This year’s in-person annual gala will bring together the city’s most influential thought leaders from the corporate, nonprofit, and philanthropic communities for an evening of dinner and dancing to raise critical funding for Girls Inc of NYC’s educational programs that inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

We are proud to announce that this year’s gala will honor Thasunda Brown Duckett, President and CEO of TIAA; La La Anthony, actress, producer, and philanthropist; Beatrice Dixon, founder and CEO of The Honey Pot Company; and Janice Reals Ellig, CEO of the Ellig Group. Comedian and host of Hulu’s Up Early Tonight, Abbi Crutchfield, will host the event.

Each of these visionary women have elevated women’s representation in top levels of leadership and have dedicated their careers to advancing the interests of women and girls.

Also, for the first time at our annual gala, we will celebrate 25 outstanding college-bound students from our College Shower program, which prepares girls to get into and navigate college. Student honorees will announce their college acceptances and receive scholarships and supplies.

Join us on Tuesday, May 10, for our largest fundraiser of the year at Cipriani’s 25 Broadway, a New York City landmark that boasts 65-foot-high ceilings, basilica-style coffered dome, vibrant maritime-themed frescoes, and towering Ionic columns. Experience a multi-course meal prepared with the freshest and purest ingredients, sourced from the finest markets locally and in Italy.

The evening program will include remarks from our four honorees, a celebration of our College Shower students, a live performance by Smashworks, and dancing.

The dress code is cocktail attire, and proof of vaccination will be required upon entry.
