Madison Avenue Fall Gallery Walk

October 23, 2021

43 Madison Avenue Galleries Welcome the Public for an Art-filled Day
of Viewing Fall Exhibitions, Curator Talks and Tours

A prestigious roster of 43 internationally acclaimed galleries will open their doors for curator tours and talks of their current exhibitions during the Madison Avenue Fall Gallery Walk on October 23 from 11am-5pm. One of New York’s favorite art events, this is a prime opportunity to visit the participating galleries located on Madison Avenue and adjacent side streets between 57th and 86th Streets. Organized by the Madison Avenue B.I.D, Madison Avenue Fall Gallery Walk is free and open to the public.
By example, art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to view “PICASSO: Seven Decades” at Acquavella Galleries; a first solo exhibition with Dorothea Rockburne at David Nolan Gallery; a gallery director discussion on Christo’s American works at Galerie Gmurzynska; Hauser & Wirth will debut “Ema Rosenstein: Once Upon a Time” along with a director led walkthrough; a talk and viewing of an international exhibition unfolding at Lévy Gorvy of new works by Mickalene Taylor; “Aged Innocence,” a photo journey across China between 2013-2017 at Miyako Yoshinago Gallery with a talk by the artist, Hai Zhang. Skarstedt will inaugurate its newly reopened gallery with “David Salle: Tree of Life”; and many more exceptional exhibitions and talks to experience.
Abiding by NYC health and safety standards, art enthusiasts can view the exhibitions, talks and curator tours and schedule an advance gallery visit appointment at https://www.madisonavenuebid.org/FallGalleryWalk
