Madison Avenue Welcome Back Saturday

THE MADISON AVENUE B.I.D. CELEBRATES THE OPENING OF THE FALL SEASON WITH ITS 2nd ANNUAL MADISON AVENUE WELCOME BACK SATURDAY IN OVER 60 STORES ON SEPTEMBER 18

The welcome mat is out on the 29-blocks on Madison Avenue between 57th and 86th Streets. It’s time to celebrate in style, and the public is invited to enjoy free programming on the street, al fresco fine dining and an array of in-store experiences and shopping incentives, gallery visits and more all day long.

The kick-off highlight will be a “Wave & Take a Bow” moment at noon, when the staff from the over 300 businesses on Madison Avenue will “step out” of their stores, galleries, restaurants and salons to wave to welcome back clients to their respective businesses. They will take a bow for being among the designated essential workers in retail, restaurant and hospitality who have given the Madison Avenue neighborhood community a sense of normalcy throughout the pandemic, and have made the Upper East Side feel vital. Joining them will be the owners, designers, restaurateurs, gallery owners, and even models attired or accessorized with their respective brands’ collections. The public is invited to share the moment to salute them, and then spend the day discovering and experiencing what’s new and exciting on Madison Avenue now.
