Miro Magloire’s New Chamber Ballet

Choreographer Magloire presents his New Chamber Ballet in the world premiere of “Vox,” to music by rising young composer Elizabeth Gartman, who this month, January, will premiere a new work for the Washington National Opera’s American Opera Initiative. Also on the program is the charming “Wood Nymphs,” to romantic piano pieces by Liszt. Magloire began his career as a composer, studying in his native Germany with Mauricio Kagel, and always features all live music in his performances. Pianist is Melody Fader and violinist is Doori Na. Performances Feb. 16 & 17 at 7:30 pm at the Mark Morris Dance Center, 3 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn NY.
