Nao Medical to Host Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Opening of Flagship NYC Location

On Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 12 PM, Nao Medical – formerly known as Statcare – will provide free COVID vaccination or booster shots, as well as free monoclonal antibody infusion treatments to mark the opening of their Long Island City Facility

Nao Medical is expanding its services from urgent care to include primary care, introducing mental health & wellness services, immigration services, occupational medicine, travel clinic, and more

WHAT: Nao Medical will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of its 1,500 square-foot NYC location in Long Island City, providing free COVID vaccination and booster shots, as well as monoclonal antibody infusion treatments.

Founded in 2009 and formerly known as Statcare, Nao Medical is rebranding and expanding. Nao Medical continues to grow and has over a dozen locations, along with a fleet of mobile care sites, throughout the five boroughs and Long Island, bridging the gap between emergency and primary care, where patients can walk in without an appointment and be seen.

Throughout the pandemic, Nao Medical remained open and served over 700,000 New Yorkers providing them with much needed access to COVID PCR tests, Rapid COVID tests and antibody infusions. Nao Medical providers also went into communities with their mobile units and gave 5,000 life-saving vaccinations. Today, Nao Medical provides a comprehensive range of health, mental health, and wellness services from regular checkups to urgent care available to all New Yorkers. “Nao” means boat in Hindi, Sanskrit, and Spanish, bringing to mind the idea of ferrying their patients from a time of stress to a moment of calm and navigating towards better health.
