An Evening with Art Collector and Philanthropist Glenn Fuhrman In conversation with artist and entrepreneur Fanyu Lin Join us for an inspiring evening at The FLAG Art Foundation with Glenn Fuhrman to explore a journey of passion for collecting and philanthropy at the pinnacles of the art world. This in-person event will feature an in-depth conversation with Mr. Fuhrman to share his experience and impact in supporting artists and the broader art ecosystem, alongside a successful career as an investor. This is a unique opportunity to understand the nuances of the art market and the role of collectors in shaping the landscape of contemporary art. Glenn Fuhrman has distinguished himself not merely as a top-tier collector but as a vital conduit in the art world, fostering the growth and appreciation of contemporary art through his private art foundation and philanthropic efforts. This conversation will illuminate Mr. Fuhrman’s deep-seated belief in the power of art to inspire, educate, and build community, reflecting on his journey of collecting transformative works, empowering artists, and his commitment to making contemporary art accessible. “The FLAG Art Foundation emanated from my passion for collecting contemporary art and the desire to share that joy and personal fulfillment with the public at large. For more than 25 years, I have cultivated an in-depth approach to collecting art of my lifetime, which has allowed me to forge strong and sustained relationships with artists throughout the evolution of their careers. Additionally, my wife Amanda and I have developed unique relationships with artists, curators, gallerists, museum directors, and other collectors, all of whom tremendously enrich our lives. It was my hope in creating FLAG that we could work with these creative and inspiring individuals in new capacities and build a program that would honor artists and engage viewers.” — Glenn Fuhrman Timetable • 5:30pm – 6:00pm: Exhibition viewing and networking over two floors of the Gallery; DATE/TIME: Tuesday, April 9, 2024 6:00pm – 8pm ET LOCATION: The FLAG Art Foundation, 545 West 25th Street, 9th Floor, NYC Bios Glenn Fuhrman Glenn Fuhrman is a co-Founder and co-Managing Partner of Tru Arrow Partners (New York, NY) and is the Founder and CEO of Virtru Investment Partners (New York, NY).
