New York City Ballet Fall Fashion Gala

We are thrilled to invite you to join us on Wednesday, September 28 in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Fall Fashion Gala. Since its inception in 2012, this beloved event has paired acclaimed choreographers with some of the fashion world’s most exciting talents and, in the process, has led to the creation of nearly 30 ballets that have reinvigorated the art form. This year’s event will honor New York City Ballet Vice Chair Sarah Jessica Parker for her vision and leadership of the Fall Fashion Gala, along with a decade of Fall Fashion Gala designers and choreographers for their exceptional creations.

The special program will include a world premiere by Gianna Reisen with costumes designed by Alejandro Gómez Palomo for Palomo Spain and a commissioned score by Solange Knowles, a world premiere by Kyle Abraham with costumes designed by Giles Deacon, the live performance premiere of Solo created by NYCB Resident Choreographer and Artistic Advisor, Justin Peck with a costume designed by Raf Simons, and an excerpt from the dazzling Symphony in C by the Company’s Co-Founder, George Balanchine.

This evening of dance and design will begin with an elegant cocktail reception at 5:30 PM hosted by Ruinart Champagne, followed by the gala program at 7 PM, and will conclude with a glittering Supper Ball at 9 PM.
