New York City Police Foundation 2019 Gala

The New York City Police Foundation and Police Commissioner James O’Neill will honor James P Gorman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Morgan Stanley, at the New York City Police Foundation’s 2019 gala on Tuesday April 30. More than 1,000 guests are expected to attend.

NFL great and sports journalist Boomer Esiason will serve as master of ceremonies, along with Gregg Giannotti, who together cohost WFAN’s Morning Show.

At the gala, the Foundation and Commissioner O’Neill will present the Chuck Barris Foundation “Cop of the Year” Award to Detective Dalsh Veve. The Hemmerdinger Award for Excellence for distinguished public service will be presented to Police Officer Syed Ali, Detective Jason Anazagasty, Lieutenant Quathisha Epps, Sergeant Damon Martin, and Detective Rosemarie Muckenthaler.

Proceeds will benefit the New York City Police Foundation and will support the efforts of the NYPD and the brave women and men who serve. By supporting innovative projects, this public-private partnership provides additional resources to help the NYPD transform the way policing is done in New York.
