New York Public Library 2019 Library Lions Gala

Celebrating arts, letters, and scholarship, Library Lions is The New York Public Library’s largest annual event and one of the most anticipated evenings on New York City’s cultural calendar. This year’s event takes places on the evening of Monday, November 4th at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building at 5th Avenue and 42nd Street in New York City. This year’s event will honor Elizabeth Alexander, Philip Glass, Jamaica Kincaid, Jill Lepore and Frederick Wiseman.
