New York Scandia Symphony, under the baton of director Dorrit Matson, will present a program of music by Carl Nielsen, Hugo Alfven, and Emil Hartmann. Guest violinist Stephanie Chase will join the orchestra’s 48 musicians, which annually revive and preserve the works of significant Northern European classical composers.
