NYJL’s Nonprofit Education & Training’s “Building Your Way to the Board” Training Session

The NYJL’s Nonprofit Education & Training committee is hosting their second “Building Your Way to the Board” training of the year on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Astor House. Whether you are currently serving on a board or are interested in joining a board, this event will set you up for board membership success.

Industry and academic experts will lead sessions on developing the skills necessary to be successful board members. Planned sessions include:
– how to find and join a nonprofit board
– roles and responsibilities of nonprofit board members
– impact measurement and moving the needle
– and more!

Tickets are available for $50. The day includes coffee and a light breakfast, lunch, and networking, in addition to training sessions and presentations.
