The Belmont Business Improvement District (BID) is thrilled to announce the return of Ferragosto to Bronx Little Italy on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 12pm to 6pm, with media interviews from 12pm to 1pm, on Arthur Avenue. We wanted to make sure that the neighborhood’s beloved annual outdoor festival is on your radar for any upcoming pieces about “Things to Do” and weekend events this fall. Ferragosto celebrates the end of the harvest season and is an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their authentic products and serve their signature dishes. Since the start of the pandemic, many of the independent and small businesses including Marie’s Coffee & Gifts, Calabria Pork Store, Teitel Brothers, Morrone Pastry Shop, and Enzo’s of Arthur Avenue remained open every day to serve the community and will participate in Ferragosto. For over 20+ years, the resilient merchants of Bronx Little Italy have banded together to keep this Italian tradition alive by engaging visitors in Italian culture, traditions, music, and of course, the greatest food. The BID is looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Ferragosto at the intersection of all-things-Italian at world-famous Arthur Avenue and East 187th Street.
