Rowdy Meadow, a new visionary Czech Cubist-inspired house in Ohio, is furnished with important furniture and decorative arts and displays a significant art collection. The House is set on a plateau in an extraordinary landscape of orchards, fields and ravines that has been made into an extensive sculpture park. This ambitious project was orchestrated by a family with civic intentions: the entire estate will be bequeathed to the Cleveland Museum of Art. The team that created Rowdy Meadow includes Peter Pennoyer Architects as architect and interior designer, Reed Hilderbrand as landscape architect and 30 artists who contributed to the sculpture park including Richard Serra, Andy Goldsworthy, Sol Lewitt, Anish Kapoor and Ai Weiwei. The combination of design and artistic talent makes Rowdy Meadow one of the most significant, singular, and important residential commissions of the past decade.Event Calendar
