Preservation Long Island’s Annual Country House Benefit

Preservation Long Island is excited to announce the date and venue for our 2023 Country House Benefit Party. We hope you can join us!

In this special 75th anniversary year, we are fortunate to have The Farm House at Meadow Spring as the setting for the event. Built circa 1917 for financier, A. Clarkson Runyon Jr., the site was architect, Mott B. Schmidt’s first Long Island commission: a Jacobean-inspired country house set against a lush garden featuring the primary elements of an original 1919 Olmsted Brothers design. Today, the building’s interior is a blend of the old and new – elegantly outfitted for a 21st century family while preserving Schmidt’s classical architectural details.

As our principal fundraiser of the year and essential to the realization of our mission, it is also one of the best parties of the season. Tickets and sponsorship packages are available for purchase now!
