Keep up your family’s summer wellness routine at a series of free classes for adults and children aimed to enhance the body and mind at Rockefeller Center this August. Visitors of all skill levels are invited to bring their yoga mats and participate in a Pilates, yoga, and/or barre class that will be hosted on a rotating weekly basis at 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays from August 10th through August 31st on Rockefeller Plaza, located between 49th and 50th Streets and 5th and 6th Avenues, Manhattan. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or want to try something new, the weekly wellness offerings provide a healthy way to kick-start your Saturdays and enjoy being outdoors in the closing weeks of summer. Rockefeller Center Offers Free Outdoor Family-Friendly Wellness and Dance Classes on Select Saturdays in August

• 9:00 a.m.: Exubrancy Power Pilates
Exubrancy’s high-energy Pilates workout promotes strength and balanced muscle development, as well as flexibility and increased range of motion. This 50-minute class will strengthen, lengthen, and tone small muscle groups while focusing on the mind-body connection.
• 10:00 a.m.: Kids Dance Class
Celebrate with your kids with a fun, healthy dance party. Led by a top NYC dance instructor, this 30-minute class will incorporate super easy-to-follow steps set to the beat of a rockin’ playlist.
Guided by NYC-based yoga instructor Eddie Stern, learn simple yet invigorating yoga postures that tone both the body and nervous system; breathing practices to reduce stress; and be introduced to a simple method of meditation based on total body relaxation. No experience necessary. Presented in partnership with NSL: Never Stop Learning.

Utilizing Pilates- and ballet-inspired movements, isometrics and core sculpting, Exubrancy’s barre class focuses on small muscle groups to tighten and tone. This 50-minute class is a true full-body workout that is sure to make you feel the burn.
• 10:00 a.m.: Kids Dance Class
