Rockefeller Center invites families and friends of all ages to join in on the full slate of fun planned for “Spring Sunday” at Center Plaza on Sunday, April 24th from 2 to 5 pm. Participants will get to enjoy a wide range of different activities including: • Live musical performances by The Rock & Roll Playhouse: The largest and most popular provider of kid-friendly concerts in the nation • The Climate Museum Presents Climate Art for Congress: Create illustrated notes to members of Congress describing what they love most on Earth, and what they want to protect from climate change • Greenthumb of NYC Parks: Kids and adults alike can partake in a microgreens planting workshop, where they’ll have the opportunity to take home their very own garden embedded within a recycled take-out container • David Mizejewski and the National Wildlife Federation: Experience an idyllic walk through the channel gardens with renowned naturalist and television personality, David Mizijewski. On the walk, David will incorporate his famous quiz, “Everything You Think You Know About Bees is Wrong” and give a planter demonstration • Bookmark Creation: Design your very own bookmark with The Shop at NBC Studios • Roxy The Owl: Flying in for another celebration as winter comes to an end, Roxy is still ready to her share her joy with everyone • Select food and retailers will be out on the Plaza including Ben & Jerry’s, Beatnic, Goods Mart, FDNY Zone and FAO Schwarz.Event Calendar
