The 36th Annual Chefs’ Tribute to Citymeals on Wheels

Kick off summer at Chefs’ Tribute to Citymeals on Wheels. For over 35 years, this lavish tasting event has rallied the most buzzworthy chefs to present their singular dishes to over 800 guests, all in support of homebound elderly New Yorkers.

Participants this year include Chefs Daniel Boulud of Le Gratin, Maneet Chauhan of Chauhan Ale & Masala House, Dino Gatto of Rao’s, Alex Guarnaschelli of Butter, Lee & Thai Kambar of Thaily’s, Charlie Mitchell of Clover Hill, Junghyun Park of Atomix, Jean-Georges Vongerichten of the Tin Building, Jonathan Waxman of Barbuto and dozens more. This year’s theme – Family Affair – celebrates the relationships at the heart of our shared love of food and cooking.

Guests will enjoy craft cocktails from the city’s leading bars – including Bar Goto, PDT and Raines Law Room – and an abundance of fine wines. A live band keeps the dance floor packed late into the evening. As always, 100% of proceeds go to the preparation and delivery of meals to our older neighbors in need. Founded in 1981, Citymeals has delivered over 67 million meals to homebound elderly New Yorkers and become the largest meals on wheels program in the country.
