THE LAWYERS COMMITTEE OF INNER-CITY SCHOLARSHIP FUND’S 30TH ANNUAL SAINT THOMAS MORE AWARD LUNCHEON

Join the Lawyers Committee of Inner-City Scholarship Fund and His Eminence, Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York, for the 30th Annual Saint Thomas More Award Luncheon on Wednesday, November 7 at Cipriani 42nd Street, located at 110 E. 42nd Street, between Lexington and Park Avenue, Manhattan. Reception will begin at 11:30 AM and the luncheon will begin at 12:00 PM.

His Eminence, Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan will honor James D. Herschlein, Partner at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP. The presentation of the John P. Cooney Award for Mentorship and Community Involvement will be presented to James Mangan, Managing Director & Head of U.S. Litigation at Morgan Stanley.

Inner-City Scholarship Fund changes lives for the better by providing families with demonstrable financial needs the opportunity to give their children a quality, values-based K-12 Catholic education within the Archdiocese of New York. Inner-City exists to ensure that an excellent Catholic school education continues to be a viable option for students of all faiths today and for future generations. Nearly 70% of the students at Inner-City supported schools live at or below the poverty line, yet 98% of high school seniors graduate and 95% pursue higher education.

The Lawyers Committee of Inner-City Scholarship Fund is made up of some of the most distinguished members of New York’s legal community and has long been a very active and effective ally in Inner-City’s effort to help inner-city students and their families.
