UNITAS, the award-winning, international organization dedicated to preventing human trafficking and supporting survivors, will hold its star studded 5th gala on September 13 at New York’s Cipriani South Street, details HERE. The highly anticipated event will raise funds to further prevention education for youth, training for school staff and community stakeholders to disrupt human trafficking, and support for survivors through therapeutic intensives, retreats, mentorship and housing for survivors. The 2022 UNITAS Gala will be hosted by Emmy award winning journalist and WABC-TV News Anchor Sade Baderinwa and will honor New York Police Department Lieutenant Amy Capogna from the Citywide Human Trafficking Squad and Yehudit Zicklin-Sidikman, Empowerment Self-Defense and Violence Prevention Social Entrepreneur. The evening will feature live performances by multi-platinum singer Natasha Bedingfield, recording artist Cris Cab, and award-winning violist David Aaron Carpenter of The Carpenter Trio.
