Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition

The Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition returns live to Symphony space, June 21-24. Celebrating 10 years of excellence, the Competition will host 100 dancers from 18 countries around the world. They will dance before an illustrious panel of judges, led by Charles Jude, former etoile of the Paris Opera Ballet and trustee for the Nureyev and Lifar Foundations, for medals, scholarships to international schools, and company contracts. June 21 is the Classical Ballet Round; June 22 is the contemporary dance; June 23 are Finals; (all starting at 1 pm). June 24 opens with the Gala Performance at 7 PM, featuring outstanding 2022 entrants, past medalists, special guests, and a perfomance by Valentina Kozlova, and follows with announcement of the prize winners, with all entrants and judges on stage.
