YCA Series Classical Music Under the Stars at LongHouse, First Performance

Young Concert Artists (YCA), in partnership with LongHouse Reserve, will host a series of classical performances by five superb soloists, each critically acclaimed in their chosen instrument. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful East Hampton gardens, this performance is first in a series of four (schedule listed below) which features the works of renowned composers such as Mozart, Scarlatti, Chopin, Debussy, Ravel, Bach, and more. Join us for an unmissable evening of classical music under the stars!

Acclaimed accordionist Hanzhi Wang will kick off the series, (August 24th at 6:30pm) with performances of works by Mozart, Scarlatti, Grieg, Piazzolla, and Martin Lohse on the accordion. With features in numerous orchestras and countless won prizes to her name, her live performance is a revelation, showcasing the accordion’s agility and power in ways you wouldn’t expect.
