Join us for an unforgettable evening—Young Audiences Arts for Learning 2024 National Benefit Gala on Tuesday, October 22, as we honor Trevor Noah as our first-ever National Arts for Learning Award for Artistic Inspiration & Empowerment, and Jason Flom and Khaliah Ali as our first-ever recipients of the National Arts for Learning Award for Visionary Leadership & Impact Award. Also that evening, acclaimed author Jacqueline Woodson will appear in Conversation with Trevor Noah, and nine high school students who make up The Jazz Combo from our New Orleans arts-integrated public charter school will travel to NYC to perform. Our annual Benefit Gala is our most important fundraiser, benefiting the more than 5 million marginalized children we serve each and every year. Through the arts, you can help Young Audiences ignite a passion for learning and unlock the greatness within each child. Your support will champion creative learning, drive educational innovation, and transform lives through the collaborative partnership of teaching artists, students, educators, and communities. Founded in 1952, Young Audiences Arts for Learning is the nation’s largest provider of arts in schools. Every year, we serve more than five million students and families in rural, suburban, and urban underserved communities across the country, ensuring an equitable, arts-rich education that affirms every child’s value and potential, regardless of race, geography, ability, or socioeconomic status. By weaving the arts into the fabric of all non-arts subjects, we ignite lifelong curiosity, encourage joyful learning, and nurture an enduring belief in the life-changing power of education.
