Maestro Marios Papadopoulos returned to New York in November with invitations to perform four recitals with members of the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra.
Baroness Veronique Bich celebrated the maestro’s return by hosting a recital and dinner for 60 friends, including Marife Hernandez and Joel Bell, Ruth and Josh Berman, Guillaume Bich, Maria Christina and John Bilimatsis, Clarissa and Edgar Bronfman, Karen Burke, Clemency Burton-Hill, Sophie Coumantaros, Carole and Philippe Delouvrier, Beatrice Dupont, Desmond and Muffie Fitzgerald, Joanie and Jeremy Frost, April and Roddy Gow, Karen Hsu, Charles Holmes, Pamela and Andrew Jacovides, Elbrun and Peter Kimmelman, Jeanne Lawrence, Odile and Michel Longchamp, Annabelle and Alberto Mariaca, Ann and Bill Nitze, Julia and Jamal Nusseibeh, Yvonne Rieber, Johanna and Lief Rosenblatt, Denise and Andrew Saul, Daisy Soros, Peter Tcherepnine, Barbara and Donald Tober, Stanley Weisman and Victoria Wyman.

A few days later, the Board of the Hellenic American Cultural Foundation hosted a recital at the Kaufman Center, which included a performance with two members of the Greek National Opera: Soprano Vassiliki Karayanni and Baritone Dionysios Sourbis. Among the guests were CeCe Black, Katarina and Robert Shaw, Lucy and Nick Kourides, Mary Jaharis, Antonia and Spiros Milonas and Faanya Rose.

Soprano Vassiliki Karayanni and Baritone Dionysios Sourbis will perform in the new production of Nozze di Figaro at the Niarchos Opera House in Athens in March 2019, conducted by Marios Papadopoulos.
