Following a New Year’s Eve wedding at The Breakers in 2004 and two impressive careers in fashion, husband and wife clothing designers Gable and Ed Shaikh founded their sartorial men’s and womenswear brand in 2009 and thoughtfully named it after their eldest of three daughters, Hadleigh. Now, the Shaikhs are thrilled to be back in the destination that has continuously inspired their design direction to present Hadleigh’s 2021 Spring / Summer lifestyle clothing collections exclusively in Palm Beach.

From the luxe label’s signature feminine shirt dresses and modern take on masculine leisure looks, all expertly made by hand in Italy, Hadleigh’s invited the Palm Beach community to shop and celebrate its sophisticated style at The Colony Hotel for two days on Saturday and Sunday, May 1st and 2nd.

The Shaikhs have worked tirelessly to provide the finest luxury clothing collections, personally sourcing exquisite textiles from around the world, and partnering with the most talented artisans in Italy. Even from the brand’s quaint beginnings in the Shaikh’s first home in Dallas, Texas, every intricate detail of each garment is taken into account with nothing less than an exceptional finished product being acceptable. The final result: impeccably designed clothes, with an old world inspired personal touch, for the modern lifestyle.

From Hadleigh’s iconic smoking slippers that were originally carried by Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman, to classic feminine silhouettes and hand tailored suits, customers from near and far have sought out the sophisticated brand as a revered destination for an unparalleled bespoke design experience and superior ready to wear collections. Upon final design review, each crafted piece is carefully marked with their signature stamp, a logo representing a subtle nod to timeless quality with two refined gentlemen shaking hands to form an “H.”

In addition to their penthouse atelier on Madison Avenue in New York City, the designer duo expanded their prestigious Highland Park Village women’s boutique in Dallas, Texas, to adjoin their upstairs men’s atelier, and plan for additional expansions in the future.

For instance, on Sunday, they sponsored a book-signing for their friends/clients Emberli & David Pridham co-authors of the children’s book series, If Not You, Then Who? which aim to teach children 4+ years and older how curiosity, passion, and ideas materialize into useful inventions. The goal is to show young readers from all backgrounds that no dream is too big, and no dreamer is too small to succeed. For more information, visit www.ifnotyoubooks.com
